I wanted to replace our current deadlock with a similar type. My last one was a Yale and had lasted many years so I was a little hesitant to buy a Union, albeit they have an equally good reputation. I opted for this particular model because of the colour of the key hole covers and it was a reasonable price. It arrived quickly and it was exactly what I wanted. Fitting it was a piece of cake as it fitted exactly where the old lock had with no adjustments needed or necessary. The lock itself is extremely smooth to operate and we are delighted with it. I would certainly buy another and would recommend this product to anyone. I assume that other union products are of a similar standard so would recommend Union as a very good company.

As standard the Union 2101 - 5 Lever Deadlock (65mm, Satin Chrome) is supplied Keyed to Differ which means the lock includes a set of keys that are unique and will only open this lock. If you require multiple locks you can choose to have them all Keyed Alike, meaning that each lock can be opened using the same key.

What is Keyed to Differ?

  • Keyed to Differ is the standard way a lock is supplied.
  • Each lock is opened by its own unique key.
  • Each lock includes a unique set of keys.

What is Keyed Alike?

  • Each key can open multiple locks - the same key could unlock your house and office.
  • Locks need to be the same brand and number of levers.
