I am looking for a top quality BS 5 lever deadlock (or equivalent) which is suitable for use outdoors on a strong garden gate. High security for the garden gate is very important. I want to use a suitable lock that will not rust owing to rain etc. Can you recommend the best lock for this specific purpose? Thank you.

For a 5 lever mortice lock to work on an outside gate it will need to be installed into a solid wood mortice within the gate as the sides of the lock cannot be left exposed. Any lock that is exposed to rain will, overtime, develop rust and will stop working.
