The Chubbsafes DataGuard 80E is certified to NT Fire 017 120D to provide 120 minutes fire protection for all forms of computer data media including disks, tapes and external hard drives. Due to the unique single layer protective barrier the internal temperature will not raise above 52°C. The Chubbsafes DataGuard 80E is fitted with a high security electronic combination lock. This model is also available in 3 other sizes.

I am looking for a data safe that meets the following requirements -

1. Meet or exceed (successfully passed testing to Underwriters Laboratories standards) requirements for UL Fire rating: “U.L. Class 125° - 1 Hour Rating.” Longer times are preferable.

2. Meet or exceed (successfully passed testing) for UL to be: “UL Explosion Rated.”

3. Meet or exceed (successfully passed testing) for UL to be: “UL Impact Rated.”

4. Storage capacity for 120 LTO tapes

Please can you let me have some options?

The Chubbsafe Data Plus range will meet the U.L. Class 125 certification you require with 120 minutes fire protection.

However, it has not been tested therefore it does not qualify for the U.L. Explosion or the U.L. Impact rating.

The storage capacity of the smallest unit, which is the Size 1 is 192 LTO tapes when you purchase 4 x additional media drawers.
