After being awakened too may times in the night by our teenage children, we decided to get a key safe. After doing quite a bit of research, we bought the Phoenix Palm - and are very happy with the purchase. It comes with everything you need to secure it to the wall (including a template of where to drill), feels absolutely bomb-proof and yet is slimline enough to be easily hidden away. It's very easy to setup with the app and the range of functions available covers every eventuality (one time unlock codes etc etc). Finally, a really nice touch is that the numbers light up which makes it a doddle to enter the correct code at night.

The Phoenix Palm KS0211E Smart Airbnb Keybox is a battery powered digital key safe which allows access to house keys via a digital keypad lock or a SmartPhone App. The back-lit digital keypad allows you to programme your own code or you can open the lock via Bluetooth by using an App on your phone. Keep track of who has entered the key safe with an audit facility via the Smart Life app which also allows you to share access with friends and family remotely.

The lock is powered by 4x AAA batteries and also features a USB-C port which provides access in case of battery failure. This key safe is ideally located on the outside of a property enabling easy entry for care workers, cleaners, workmen or children.

Lock Control by Smartphone

The Smart Life App* allows you to open the key safe via Bluetooth when in range and allows you to send PIN codes to friends and family remotely for as long as you choose. The App also provides an audit so that you can keep track of who comes and goes.

Access via PIN code

The mobile app allows you to create permanent PIN codes that provide access any time. You can also create one time PIN codes to provide one off access or you can set a periodic code which allows access for a specific time period. It is possible to create up to 100 different PIN code combinations.

Installation

This key safe includes fixing holes in the rear, and a fixing kit, so that it can be installed to a wall. The key safe is idealy placed on a wall next to the door.

Standard Key Safe Installation

We offer professional installation on our complete range of Key Safes.

Our experienced engineer will complete a brief site inspection and then discuss their findings with you to agree positioning of your key safe.

Your installation will include fixing the key safe to an exterior wall using the fixings included with your key safe. The fixings are designed for use with a solid surface such as brick or concrete.

The position of your key safe will be governed by safe site access, and other obstructions such as submerged pipes or cables within the wall.

The engineer will carry out a final assessment to ensure the key safe is secure before providing a brief demonstration of your key safe and confirming the installation has been completed to your satisfaction.

Non-standard Installation

In some cases, it may be necessary to install additional materials or provide extra resources (manpower) to facilitate an installation in a safe manner.

If additional costs are likely these will be discussed with you prior to installation. Reasons for extra costs might include:

  • Specialised access equipment and permits such as hoists, lifts and cranes.
  • Outside of normal hours working (Mon-Fri, 9am to 5pm).
  • 4x4 Vehicular access requirements to remote rural sites.
  • Road closure including necessary permits.
  • Additional manpower to overcome technical, lifting or safety access issues.

We offer installation throughout the UK mainland, however some more remote and rural post codes in the Highlands are subject to a surcharge to cover additional fuel and traveling time costs.

The following areas will incur a rural travel surcharge:

  • PA 1 - 19 (No coverage in other PA postcodes)

These additional elements are deemed to fall outside the definition of a 'Standard Installation'. If you feel your installation might be non-standard please contact us to discuss your individual requirements.

If applicable, additional costs are to be paid before installation begins.

Warranty Terms & Conditions

Our installer provides a standard 12 month warranty on all new installations and a 3 month warranty on all materials provided during maintenance visits.

Note: Existing system components and pre-supplied equipment are not included in the installation warranty as these elements are covered by the Manufacturer warranty.

We reserve the right to undertake an ‘Assessment Call’ without prejudice to investigate any complaints relating to materials failure or poor workmanship to assess if the complaint is valid. Please note that remedial service calls generated by elements outside of our sphere of influence or due to different fault conditions will be chargeable to you at an agreed call out charge.

In scenarios where you request a post installation service call and our assessment identifies the fault condition or cause of the fault falls outside of the limitations of the standard installation warranty (Force Majeure, different fault etc) a call out charge will be incurred for the visit.

Assessment calls raised for reasons outside our sphere of influence or responsibility and not covered by the standard installation will incur a call out charge for labour and additional materials.

The following are examples of when a call out charge would be incurred:

  • Malicious Damage
  • Materials or Manufacturer Failure
  • System Modification
  • Incorrect User Diagnosis
  • Broadband Related
