The Phoenix Vela SS0804e is a home or office security safe that is ideal for securing cash and valuables from theft. The safe comes with a recommended insurance rating of £1,000 cash or £10,000 valuables and is secured by a user friendly electronic combination lock. The back and base of the safe are ready prepared for floor or wall installation and includes Professional Installation.

We are delighted with the safe. It is exactly as described and does exactly what we require. It is neat, solid, and fits into its designated space well. The entry code with fall-back key and the battery-lit interior make it easy to use. The adjustable shelf makes for flexible use. Delivery was on time. Fitting was relatively straightforward - we were fortunate to have a readily-available handyman who took any pain out of the installation. We would recommend this safe to any one or any organisation wanting a discrete, secure place for the safe keeping of valuables.

The safe arrived in tact and on time therefore very pleased with the service. It was much more flimsy than I imagined it would be therefore very easy to lift and remove however, it is now bolted to the wall and the concrete floor making it more difficult to remove. The capacity is ideal for domestic use and very simple to operate but difficult enough for an intruder to locate and ultimately

Great safe! The Phoenix Vela is great value and solidly made for a home safe. Their are four holes for anchor bolts in both the back and bottom so it can be securely fixed and the door fits well with little movement. It has an anti - bump mechanism for added security. I would recommend the product whole-heartedly.

Brilliant website, which enabled us to compare options and to understand exactly what we were buying. We wanted a safe to put passports and things in - as much so we know where they are as anything! But also somewhere we can put things like laptops etc if we’re going to be away. We doubt that this model is especially secure against a determined thief, but we have nothing of great value and so it’s a deterrent really. Works excellently, feels solid and nice mechanism, and great service from safe.co.uk. Thank you.

It closed by mistake with the paperwork and key in it and we had to throw the whole safe as there was no way to open despite calling the company for help.

Thankfully, it was empty as it was brand new

    Standard Safe <25kg Installation

    We offer professional installation on our complete range of lightweight safes under 25kgs.

    Our experienced engineer will complete a brief site inspection and then discuss their findings with you to agree positioning of your safe.

    Your installation will include bolting the safe to the floor or wall using the anchor bolts included with your safe. Anchor bolts are designed for use with a solid surface such as brick or concrete. We cannot install your safe to floorboards or a stud plasterboard wall.

    If you are choosing a wall installation you must ensure the skirting board has been removed prior to installation.

    The position of your safe will be governed by safe site access, and other obstructions such as submerged pipes/cables or under floor heating.

    The engineer will carry out a final assessment to ensure the safe is secure.

    Additional Information

    Non-standard Installation

    In some cases, it may be necessary to install additional materials or provide extra resources (manpower) to facilitate an installation in a safe manner.

    If additional costs are likely these will be discussed with you prior to installation. Reasons for extra costs might include:

    • Specialised access equipment and permits such as hoists, lifts and cranes.
    • Outside of normal hours working (Mon-Fri, 9am to 5pm).
    • 4x4 Vehicular access requirements to remote rural sites.
    • Road closure including necessary permits.
    • Additional manpower to overcome technical, lifting or safety access issues.

    We offer installation throughout the UK mainland, however some more remote and rural post codes in the Highlands are subject to a surcharge to cover additional fuel and traveling time costs.

    The following areas will incur a rural travel surcharge:

    These additional elements are deemed to fall outside the definition of a 'Standard Installation'. If you feel your installation might be non-standard please contact us to discuss your individual requirements.

    Warranty Terms & Conditions

    Our installer provides a standard 12 month warranty on all new installations and a 3 month warranty on all materials provided during maintenance visits.

    Note: Existing system components and pre-supplied equipment are not included in the installation warranty as these elements are covered by the Manufacturer warranty.

    We reserve the right to undertake an ‘Assessment Call’ without prejudice to investigate any complaints relating to materials failure or poor workmanship to assess if the complaint is valid. Please note that remedial service calls generated by elements outside of our sphere of influence or due to different fault conditions will be chargeable to you at an agreed call out charge.

    In scenarios where you request a post installation service call and our assessment identifies the fault condition or cause of the fault falls outside of the limitations of the standard installation warranty (Force Majeure, different fault etc) a call out charge will be incurred for the visit.

    Assessment calls raised for reasons outside our sphere of influence or responsibility and not covered by the standard installation will incur a call out charge for labour and additional materials.

    The following are examples of when a call out charge would be incurred:
