The Phoenix Vela SS0804k is a compact home security safe that is ideal for securing cash and valuables from theft. The safe comes with a recommended insurance rating of £1,000 cash or £10,000 valuables and is secured by a high security double bitted key lock. The back and base of the safe are ready prepared for floor or wall installation and a DIY fixing kit is included to secure the safe.

i thought this product was excellent value for money. When the safe arrived i was surprised at the quality of it. It is extremely heavy. It was larger than i was expecting. The benefit of having a removable internal shelf was brilliant. it meant when we went on holiday i was able to store of our laptops easily. Along with quite a large jewellery box and a few other valuable items. The safe made me feel confident that if any one did happen to break in my valuable would be safe. The idea of bolting it to the floor is fantastic. Good luck to anyone thinking they can pick it up and run away with it. I would totally recommend this safe.

Great safe for a home needing security for valuables, prompt delivery and easily installed, alltough my fixer used his own fittings as he felt they were stronger, nothing wrong with the ones supplied. The graphite colour is great as it blends into surroundings, so not so noticible. The interior size is good plenty of room for documents and valuables,and the easy key locking mechanism is good.All in all a sturdy, well made safe, easily installed, good value for money, and providing security for household valuables.I believe it is only fireproof for a short while, but hopefully this problem will never arise.i'm so glad I followed my daughter's recomendation.

We decided that we needed to organise our home documents and important files so looked online for a suitable safe to store these in. The Phoenix Vela SS0804k met our needs exactly. It is large enough to hold some 6 A4 binders and two A4 files easily. the higher shelf is for passports and other things needing secure storage. It is very strong and easily secured to floor or back wall. We felt that two keys rather than a battery operated digital code was better.

    Standard Safe <25kg Installation

    We offer professional installation on our complete range of lightweight safes under 25kgs.

    Our experienced engineer will complete a brief site inspection and then discuss their findings with you to agree positioning of your safe.

    Your installation will include bolting the safe to the floor or wall using the anchor bolts included with your safe. Anchor bolts are designed for use with a solid surface such as brick or concrete. We cannot install your safe to floorboards or a stud plasterboard wall.

    If you are choosing a wall installation you must ensure the skirting board has been removed prior to installation.

    The position of your safe will be governed by safe site access, and other obstructions such as submerged pipes/cables or under floor heating.

    The engineer will carry out a final assessment to ensure the safe is secure.

    Additional Information

    Non-standard Installation

    In some cases, it may be necessary to install additional materials or provide extra resources (manpower) to facilitate an installation in a safe manner.

    If additional costs are likely these will be discussed with you prior to installation. Reasons for extra costs might include:

    • Specialised access equipment and permits such as hoists, lifts and cranes.
    • Outside of normal hours working (Mon-Fri, 9am to 5pm).
    • 4x4 Vehicular access requirements to remote rural sites.
    • Road closure including necessary permits.
    • Additional manpower to overcome technical, lifting or safety access issues.

    We offer installation throughout the UK mainland, however some more remote and rural post codes in the Highlands are subject to a surcharge to cover additional fuel and traveling time costs.

    The following areas will incur a rural travel surcharge:

    These additional elements are deemed to fall outside the definition of a 'Standard Installation'. If you feel your installation might be non-standard please contact us to discuss your individual requirements.

    If applicable, additional costs are to be paid before installation begins.

    Warranty Terms & Conditions

    Our installer provides a standard 12 month warranty on all new installations and a 3 month warranty on all materials provided during maintenance visits.

    Note: Existing system components and pre-supplied equipment are not included in the installation warranty as these elements are covered by the Manufacturer warranty.

    We reserve the right to undertake an ‘Assessment Call’ without prejudice to investigate any complaints relating to materials failure or poor workmanship to assess if the complaint is valid. Please note that remedial service calls generated by elements outside of our sphere of influence or due to different fault conditions will be chargeable to you at an agreed call out charge.

    In scenarios where you request a post installation service call and our assessment identifies the fault condition or cause of the fault falls outside of the limitations of the standard installation warranty (Force Majeure, different fault etc) a call out charge will be incurred for the visit.

    Assessment calls raised for reasons outside our sphere of influence or responsibility and not covered by the standard installation will incur a call out charge for labour and additional materials.

    The following are examples of when a call out charge would be incurred:

    • Materials or Manufacturer Failure
    • System Modification
    • Incorrect User Diagnosis
