The Yale Bluetooth Smart Safe is fully controlled by your smartphone and allows Bluetooth access via the Yale Access Smartphone App. With the App installed, you can open the safe with your phone. It’s also possible to enter the safe phone free, via PIN code, Apple Watch, or back up key.

This safe features a bright LED light upon opening, a carpeted interior to protect valuables and a removable shelf to provide flexibility for storage. The door includes a digital keypad, where it’s possible to set a unique 4-8 digit PIN, and includes two 22mm motorised locking bolts. The safe is suitable for wall or floor installation and a fixing kit is included.

Installation

The Yale Smart Safe includes installation holes in both the back and base of the safe, providing greater flexibility for the safes installation location. There are two holes in the back of the safe and two holes in the base. A fixing kit is supplied, comprising of four masonry fixing bolts, ensuring a secure fix to a solid brick or concrete surface.

The Yale Smart Safe offers advanced security features to protect your valuable belongings, such as jewellery, documents, and electronics. Its secure door and two anti-saw locking bolts provide enhanced protection. The Smart Safe also includes an alarm that activates after 5 incorrect attempts, initiating a 5 minute lock out to deter unauthorised access.

Optional Wi-Fi Bridge Benefits

To maximize the smart benefits offered by the Yale Access App, all you need to do is pair this safe with the optional Wi-Fi bridge. By doing so, you can enjoy complete control of the safe using your smartphone.

    Standard Safe <25kg Installation

    We offer professional installation on our complete range of lightweight safes under 25kgs.

    Our experienced engineer will complete a brief site inspection and then discuss their findings with you to agree positioning of your safe.

    Your installation will include bolting the safe to the floor or wall using the anchor bolts included with your safe. Anchor bolts are designed for use with a solid surface such as brick or concrete. We cannot install your safe to floorboards or a stud plasterboard wall.

    If you are choosing a wall installation you must ensure the skirting board has been removed prior to installation.

    The position of your safe will be governed by safe site access, and other obstructions such as submerged pipes/cables or under floor heating.

    The engineer will carry out a final assessment to ensure the safe is secure before providing a brief demonstration of your safe and confirming the installation has been completed to your satisfaction.

    Additional Information

    Non-standard Installation

    In some cases, it may be necessary to install additional materials or provide extra resources (manpower) to facilitate an installation in a safe manner.

    If additional costs are likely these will be discussed with you prior to installation. Reasons for extra costs might include:

    • Specialised access equipment and permits such as hoists, lifts and cranes.
    • Outside of normal hours working (Mon-Fri, 9am to 5pm).
    • 4x4 Vehicular access requirements to remote rural sites.
    • Road closure including necessary permits.
    • Additional manpower to overcome technical, lifting or safety access issues.

    We offer installation throughout the UK mainland, however some more remote and rural post codes in the Highlands are subject to a surcharge to cover additional fuel and traveling time costs.

    The following areas will incur a rural travel surcharge:

    • PH 1 - 26 (No coverage in other PH postcodes)
    • PA 1 - 19 (No coverage in other PA postcodes)

    These additional elements are deemed to fall outside the definition of a 'Standard Installation'. If you feel your installation might be non-standard please contact us to discuss your individual requirements.

    If applicable, additional costs are to be paid before installation begins.

    Warranty Terms & Conditions

    Our installer provides a standard 12 month warranty on all new installations and a 3 month warranty on all materials provided during maintenance visits.

    Note: Existing system components and pre-supplied equipment are not included in the installation warranty as these elements are covered by the Manufacturer warranty.

    We reserve the right to undertake an ‘Assessment Call’ without prejudice to investigate any complaints relating to materials failure or poor workmanship to assess if the complaint is valid. Please note that remedial service calls generated by elements outside of our sphere of influence or due to different fault conditions will be chargeable to you at an agreed call out charge.

    In scenarios where you request a post installation service call and our assessment identifies the fault condition or cause of the fault falls outside of the limitations of the standard installation warranty (Force Majeure, different fault etc) a call out charge will be incurred for the visit.

    Assessment calls raised for reasons outside our sphere of influence or responsibility and not covered by the standard installation will incur a call out charge for labour and additional materials.

    The following are examples of when a call out charge would be incurred:

    • Malicious Damage
    • Materials or Manufacturer Failure
    • System Modification
    • Incorrect User Diagnosis
