Codelocks CL425 - Sashlock (Stainless Steel)

Installing the CL425 Sashlock codelock on our beautiful new front door is one of the very best decisions we made.

The codelock makes our daily coming and going smooth, convenient, and secure. Using our codelock is a joy. Though we have a keyed entry option on our codelock, we prefer to use the code for daily use. No key to carry and ultimate Security!

The simplicity of living without a key creates a freedom that has to be experienced to fully appreciate. We no longer feel tied to that tiny piece of metal that requires constant monitoring - in and out of pockets - where did I leave the...key. No need to take a key ..no need to remember where you last put it. With the codelock, we can ALWAYS get in with ease.

Peace and calm have come with our codelock: knowing there is no hidden key for a clever thief to discover, the ability to phone the code to someone and then reset the code for security, all the times the door is now closed and locked when it wouldn't have been before: short moments in the garden, a quick trip to see the neighbor. This plus the substantial quality of the lock contribute to our satisfaction of the security the lock provides.

Despite the codelock's appeal of convenience and security, we initially hesitated. We had made a labor of love choosing, painting and staining a beautiful new front door and were concerned that the codelock would give our entry door an industrial look. The codelock had to compete with the beautiful traditional locks on the market but it completely won us over as it looks even better than pictured on the web.

With the codelock's overall combination of security, esthetics, function, and freedom we are reminded daily that we made the right choice!

Our home feels ever so much more secure, ever so much more ours with the ultimate freedom to come and go that the codelock CL425 gives us without a key - but we have that too if we want it.....

it did the job great looks great

It appears to be good quality & does what I wanted it to do, only criticism would be the striker plate ought to be more substantial, a good charge at the door would easily break the wood of the door frame taking out the striker plate screws allowing entry.
