This lock was a life saver having had a new door fitted which my disabled daughter couldn’t use.

The new door lock was really high and she was unable to reach it.

My husband fitted this to the inside of the door and she uses the app on her phone as do I to open it. So much easier than finding the right key!

The igloohome Smart Airbnb Retrofit Lock can transform your existing Euro profile lock into a keyless smart door lock, without drilling or making modifications to the door. The lock can be retrofitted over existing keys or thumbturns that are turned electronically when the lock is engaged.

With the convenience of keyless entry, the Retrofit Lock puts you in control of your home security, providing the ultimate peace of mind. Access your property using your smartphone or Keypad and send time sensitive access to family and friends.

The lock is powered by batteries and provides up to 1 year's power supply. The Retrofit lock must be fitted to a Euro profile cylinder door lock where the handle is located above the cylinder. The door must be in swinging and have a minimum backset of 32mm for the to be installed.

Lock Control by Smartphone

igloohomes' Smart Lock App* allows you to open the Retrofit Lock via Bluetooth when in range and allows you to send access to friends and family remotely for as long as you choose. The App also provides an audit so that you can keep track of who comes and goes.

*Requirements: Compatible with Apple iOS and Android smartphones. Please check Smart Device App for compatibility. We recommend downloading the app before purchase to check compatibility.

Installation

Install the Retrofit lock to the inside of the door. Simply attach the lock to your existing door lock with no need for modifications and the existing lock does not need to be replaced. It is important to make sure that your door meets the following criteria.

  • Must be Euro Profile Cylinder
  • Euro Cylinder must protrude min 3mm.
  • Door handle must be located above the cylinder
  • Minimum backset of 32mm
  • Door swings inwards

Sync with Airbnb

If you are an Airbnb host, you can synchronise your listing calendars with your igloohome account so that access is automatically created for guests.
